Job Description:
Under the supervision of a Senior Special Agent the incumbent is responsible for establishing/maintaining liaison with law enforcement personnel - training - representing the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation - conducting investigations regarding gangs, escapees, and parolees - coordination with law enforcement agencies - providing security for departmental staff - preparing reports - court testimony - preparation of evidence - and other duties as required. Knowledge of gang validation and debriefing processes. The positions area of responsibility encompasses the entire San Francisco Bay Area.
