The City of Green Bay is currently accepting applications for the positions of Patrol Officer and Police Service Officer. Eligibility lists will be established to fill anticipated vacancies in 2012. Special Notes: Residency within Brown County, counties which are contiguous to Brown County or Southern Door County is required within one year of hire.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Patrol Officer: Associate Degree in Police Science or a Bachelor's Degree or greater degree in any field by May 31, 2012; certified or certifiable as a law enforcement officer in the State of Wisconsin by May 31, 2012; valid driver's license and excellent driving record; must be a U.S. citizen with no felony convictions.
Police Service Officer: Associate Degree in Police Science or a Bachelor's Degree or greater degree in any field by May 31, 2012; valid driver's license and excellent driving record; must be a U.S. citizen with no felony convictions.
