If you are selected for this position, you will be the Special Agent in Charge (SAC) in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Investigations, Regional Office, 1 (one) position in Atlanta, GA and 1 (one) position in Philadelphia, PA.
Salary range listed includes locality pay. Atlanta Salary Range $116,364.00 - $151,275.00 annually Philadelphia Salary Range $119,014.00 - $153,200.00 annually

KEY REQUIREMENTS: |

In this position you will serve as a Special Agent in Charge (SAC) in a regional office of the Office of Investigation (OI), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), in Atlanta, GA or Philadelphia, PA.
Specifically, you may:
- Manage a regional staff with specific responsibilities for management planning, direction and coordination of the regional investigative program.
- Analyze and evaluate operational implications presented in proposed legislation and regulations which impact on Department investigation programs. Determine impact on law enforcement activities, both at the investigative and prosecutive level, and develops options for changes in the investigation process to meet law enforcement needs.
- Maintain coordination with high level officials in other government agencies, both Federal and State, expanding investigative efforts and providing advice and consultation. Coordinate a continuing program for effective communication through and between OIG components and programs and management officials directly concerned with the detection, investigation and prevent of program.
- Manage and direct the formulation, presentation and execution of the budget to carry out the Region's investigative programs and activities. Provide executive oversight for the activities of the regional office's administrative services, including human resources, procurement, performance management, facilities coordination and position management.
- Manage the OI reporting of investigative cases and other activities necessary to ensure the validity of reported information. |
