Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED certificate
• Valid Texas drivers license with a good driving record
• Work assigned shifts and wear a uniform.

Must perform a wide range of non-enforcement duties relating to police service both in the field and in the police station; with a majority of the assigned duties in the detention facility and working with prisoners. Must be of good moral character as determined by a comprehensive background investigation. Must be able to follow verbal and written orders and write acceptable police reports. This position requires shift duty, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
