This position is located at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International  Airport (FLL).

The Transportation Security Administration is an Excepted Service agency.  Basic Federal employee benefits remain the same as other Federal agencies.

No relocation expenses will be authorized for this position.

MAJOR DUTIES:

If selected as a Transportation Security Manager- Bomb Appraisal
Officer (BAO), you will be responsible for managing a local BAO
Program and serving as technical consultant for the assigned Federal
Security Director (FSD) and subordinate managers on all issues
involving explosives; improvised explosive devises (IEDs); and,
Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats.  As
assigned, manages subordinate BAOs at assigned airport, spoke
airports, and/or other transportation terminals, depending on
staffing levels and experience levels of employees.
